"In times of crisis, it is vital to be united"
The coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic left Latin America and the Caribbean with severe economic, social, political, and environmental issues. Existing difficulties grew deeper and more sophisticated, while new ones appeared.
The XII International Forum of RedEAmerica, FIR 2021, addressed several key issues for the region, including the need to strengthen local institutional frameworks, include the grassroots private sector in the solution, seek inclusive education, and support the activation of the economy with inclusion criteria, among others.
Carlos Adrianzén, Celepsa's Environmental and Institutional Affairs Manager, spoke about the significance of businesses facing and helping the public in times of crisis.
He also claimed that it was vital to unite the state, private sector, and the population, because without this coordination and synergy, it would have been impossible to overcome the pandemic's setback.
