Press release: Increase in the natural flow conditions of the Cañete River

Celepsa informs that today there has been an increase in the natural conditions of the Cañete river flow above 300 m3/s, which has been causing overflows and damages in the upper part of the river. 

As you are aware, during this rainy season, the natural flow of the river is variable. Therefore, it is recommended that the population and the general public take all precautions and keep informed about the hydrological warnings issued by the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service of Peru, in order to preserve their integrity and well-being.

Authorities such as Civil Defense (INDECI) have been publishing information to be taken into account, directed to the population through its website.
