The Nor Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve's Board of Trustees has become a new member of a global environmental organization
Celepsa has been a member of the Nor Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve Board since 2002.
Celepsa has been a member of the Nor Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve Board since 2002, and it has been admitted as a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). This organization, which has over 1,000 members worldwide, is dedicated to the conservation of natural resources.
As an IUCN member, the Board of Trustees aspires to bring value to climate change, environmental management, sustainable development, and biodiversity efforts in the Nor Yauyos Cochas landscape reserve, as well as to expand and improve the reserve's network of supporters.
The Celepsa-owned Paucarcocha seasonal regulation reservoir, located in the province of Yauyos, department of Lima, is included in this reserve, which is one of the few protected natural areas with rural communities.
